Turkey wants Bangladesh by its side in the technology revolution

'Kastamonu Technopark', Kastamonu University, Kastamonu Unikent in Turkey have taken special initiatives to build skilled manpower and expert consultants for future companies. As part of this, Turkey is hosting a unique aviation technology festival 'Technofest' for the first time in September. Erdogan's country has invited Bangladesh as an emerging country of youthful innovative technology to take part in the festival. Bangladesh has responded to this invitation. At the same time, State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak has invited the country's investors to explore the immense potential of investing in high-tech parks in Bangladesh. He made the call while addressing a webinar titled "Bangladesh-Turkey Cooperation in Information and Communication Technology" on Tuesday. Speaking on the occasion, Palak said, "Bangladesh's high-tech parks have become a stepping stone for future digital transformation." Turkey is Bangladesh's second largest trading partner in South Asia after India. Bangladesh is one of the countries for Turkey in trade and investment. We must unite to make the dreams and thoughts of the youth a reality. Because the future is there. And that is why we are ready to take the lead of youth in prosperous green Bangladesh. After the speech of the chief guest, Bikarna Kumar Ghosh, Managing Director of Hi-Tech Park Authority presented various benefits of Hi-Tech Park and the vision of Bangladesh's progress in building Smart Bangladesh in this virtual match making session. Welcoming remarks were made by Onur Ozden, Chairman, Turkey-Bangladesh Business Council. Afterwards, Bangladesh's Ambassador to Turkey Masood Mannan discussed the emerging ecosystem between Bangladesh and Turkey. In a webinar chaired by Md. Khairul Amin, Director General of Digital Security Agency, Turkish Ambassador to Dhaka Mostafa Osman Turan praised Bangladesh for creating sustainable infrastructure for mobile technology and digital economy. Entrepreneurs, innovation and technology from any country in the region have made remarkable progress in the ecosystem over the past decade, he said. Mr. Zakaria Kostu, General Manager, National Technology Department, Ministry of Industry and Technology of Turkey, Prof. Dr. Atila Dikbus, CEO, ITU ARI Technocent, Yazit Yurtman, Manager, Takipsan AS Business Development and Ahmed, Director, Startup Bangladesh also spoke on the occasion.
